This is the forgotten lost site of the prospector 'Charlie Brown' cabin near Needles, California the boyhood home of Charles Schulz the creator of 'Peanuts' and of course Charlie Brown. The character 'Spike' was created as a result of Schulz's experiences out here in the wild west as a young boy and we find it curious that an actual prospector named 'Charle Brown' was a resident out here at the time Schulz's family lived in Needles... Coincidence? Well Schulz said publicly that Charlie Brown was named after a friend in Southern California however what are the chances that a well known old prospector named Charlie Brown also lived near his childhood home?
